EIB published April sales report

The European Investment Bank (EIB) published information on the sale of CO2 emission allowances (EUA) in April 2012.

The EIB sold 20.5 million of allowances last month at an average price of 7.51 euros per tonne. In total, the EIB received from the sale EUR 154 million.

EUA for December 2013 delivery were sold through spot markets and exchanges Daily trading volume ranged between 800 000 and 1 300 000 EUA.

Next report from the sale of CO2 emission allowances by the EIB will be published on June 12th.
