Public administrations

Governments of developed countries increasingly want to contribute into projects that cover all three dimensions of sustainable development, achieving to generate projects to mitigate emissions involving high social component, which otherwise could hardly be able to achieve funding.

In addition, regarding domestic actions to reduce emissions, project identification and implementation represent a cornerstone for policies fighting against climate change. Particularly relevant is the potential of the so-called carbon sinks.

Among the projects and services developed, we highlight the following:

• Management of public aids and funds and guidance on projects to reduce emissions.
• Greenhouse Gases Inventories, with a particular focus on generating absorption units within the agriculture, forestry and other land uses sectors.
• Identification, management and cost-efficiency analysis of domestic projects to reduce emissions.
• Development of Project Design Documents (PDDs) for voluntary emission reductions or voluntary carbon markets.
• Guidance on policies and programs related to cooperation and developments on clean energy and climate change projects.
