In September 2009, Factor CO2, along with a major part of the team of the old Ecofys Spain, has created Factor CO2 Ennova. This company has been created as a specialized Factor CO2 initiative to offer tangible solutions to the problem of climate change using renewable energies. Both companies share a common operational direction and participate together in the development of various projects.

Factor CO2 Ennova has an experienced team with a large background in the area of strategies development and technological solutions to the climate change phenomenon. Its work philosophy is based on creating interdisciplinary teams, with strong international character, project-based orientation and open to collaborate with international experts in different areas of expertise.

Priority for this initiative is to analyze the possibilities of new technologies to mitigate emissions of greenhouse gases, with particular focus into renewable energy, energy save and energy efficiency, green building and sustainable mobility.
