Factor among the 25 Basque companies that joined the Community for climate initiative

Yesterday, Wednesday November 29, 2017, Factor attended the act of recognition of the initiative "Community for climate", which took place in Vitoria, where along with 24 other companies, publicly expressed its commitment to climate change.

During the ceremony, the Basque Government also joined the "Community for climate" initiative to encourage Basque society to accelerate action in the face of climate change.

Iñaki Arriola, Minister of the Environment, Territorial Planning and Housing, made the presentation of the event. At the same time, Iñigo Urkullu, Lehendakari from the Basque Country, made an intervention underlining the importance of climate change management in Basque institutions and companies to be able to transform risks in opportunities.

In the event Factor received a distinction for its commitment to the initiative and to the environment, before an audience made up of representatives of companies, public administrations, technology centers and companies from the environmental sector grouped in the ACLIMA Cluster.

The community fo climate is an initiative promoted by the Spanish Platform for Climate Action, to which 2,680 people and entities have joined. Through this initiative, a framework of public-private cooperation is proposed to achieve compliance with the agreements signed in the Paris Agreement through company climate strategies, aligned with the actions developed by the government.
