In recent days, the Factor team represented by Florian Eickhold, Country Manager Germany, carried out the course "Blue Carbon and the Carbon Markets - Innovative approaches for multi-benefit projects that create shared value" to scientists and academics from various countries of the world gathered by the Blanes Advanced Studies Center (CEAB) and the Group of Aquatic Macrophyte Ecology  (GAME) within the framework of the LIFE - Blue Natura initiative.

This course provided the basis for understanding the global carbon market, the key principles of emission mitigation, the selection of high-impact multi-benefit projects and their costs, and the different global mitigation standards and opportunities for valeu creation of the Blue Carbon.

Likewise, a practical exercise was developed that taught attendees how to finance Blue Carbon projects through the implementation of innovative strategies for the commercialization and mitigation of these emissions, taking into account the potential interest groups and the externalities and characteristics of each country.
