Last week the team of Factor CO2 represented by Marco Antonio Morás, consultant, along with the team from GIZ Mexico, conducted the training workshop titled: "System of Measurement, Report and Verification and Measurement and Evaluation for the State of Jalisco", in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
The objective of the workshop was to provide the most relevant knowledge about the Measurement, Reporting and Verification (MRV) and Measurement and Evaluation (M&E) Systems to the representatives of the Ministry of Environment and Territorial Development (SEMADET) and other dependencies of the Government of the State of Jalisco.
The MRV and M&E System, designed and developed by Factor CO2, is based on an online platform that incorporates a methodological proposal to monitor and report on the progress of the actions set out in the State Action Plan against Climate Change (PECC) periodically, transparently and reliably.
The workshop is part of the last phase of the project developed by Factor CO2 for the State of Jalisco, which aims to follow up and evaluate the monitoring indicators of the systems, as well as the results of the actions contemplated in the programs of 14 different government agencies.
The project is expected to be delivered and completed by the end of October.
Factor CO2 has more than 10 years contributing ideas and services in the face of climate change, through a wide international network of offices and collaborators.
