Factor CO2 imparts in Madrid the information day on: The reform of the EU ETS Directive (2021-2030) and the emission rights market in 2017

This Wednesday, March 15th, Factor's team, represented by Iker Larrea and Iria Flavia Peñalva, will impart the information day: "The reform of the EU ETS Directive (2021-2030) and the emission rights market in 2017", with Ministry of Environment, Local Administration and Spatial Planning of the Community of Madrid, in Madrid.
The information day, directed to environmental managers, financial managers and company managers, aims to offer the keys to the proposals for reform of the EU ETS regulation for the next phase (2021-2030), paying special attention to the allocation Free of charge. As well as informing on what has happened recently in the emission rights market and providing the keys to good CO2 management in 2017.
The General Director of the Environment of the Regional Ministry of Environment, Local Administration and Spatial Planning, of the Community of Madrid, Diego Sanjuanbenito Bonal will present the information day.
During the information day, Factor's team will detail the state of negotiations for the regulation of the European Emissions Trading System in 2021-2030, the new challenges presented to the sector to comply with the new regulations, as well as the impact which is expected to have this new regulation on the European CO2 market (free allocations, auctions, US supply and demand balances ...).
Another important issue that will be discussed during the information day is the management of CO2 in 2017, both in terms of regulation and in terms of its economic/financial component (aid for compensation of costs of indirect emissions, optimal management of the deficit on emission rights, etc.).
