Factor CO2 launches the second phase of the Energy and Climate Action Plan in Bogor in Indonesia
06 October 2016 | Mitigation
Factor CO2 released earlier this week the second phase of the “Energy and Climate Action Plan in Bogor" (Indonesia) funded by the French Development Agency (AFD). Factor CO2 met with the project coordinators of the local government (BAPPEDA) and other municipal departments involved in the project.
The main objective of this phase of the project is to design specific climate change actions in the fields of energy efficiency, waste management and urban greening, for implementation in the coming years.
Key issues to be included in the studies are: greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reductions calculation, assess the impact of the co-benefits, provide recommendations of an integrated system of Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), economic and financial evaluation, identifying sources of funding, define the institutional arrangements and propose an implementation schedule.
