Factor CO2 organizes the dynamics in the Climathon Galicia 2017 in Santiago de Compostela

Today, Friday, October 27, the Xunta de Galicia joins the third edition of one of the biggest events with international repercussions related to climate change: the Climathon.
The Climathon is a 24-hour climate change meeting that takes place simultaneously in major cities around the world, such as Paris, London, Washington, Shanghai, Sydney, among others.
The objective of the event is to sensitize attendees on the effects that climate change will have on their environment and gather their ideas regarding the adaptation measures needed to achieve greater resilience to climate change.
Climathon Galicia 2017 is organized by the Department of Environment and Spatial Planning of the Xunta de Galicia, and brings together entrepreneurs, students and professionals to create innovative solutions to the climate challenges of Galicia.
The event will address three of the sectors analyzed as vulnerable and of highest priority for Galicia: the primary sector, tourism and waste.
The team of Factor CO2 represented by Iria Flavia Peñalva, partner and project manager, and Irene Rivera, consultant, will be in charge of organizing the dynamics that will seek to translate innovative ideas for each of the priority challenges addressed.
Throughout the day, from Climathon Galicia will be held different connections with other cities of the Climathon community to share experiences and progress.
The day will end with the selection of the most innovative ideas, which will be shared with the global Climathon community.
