As part of the visit to San José, Costa Rica, on Thursday September 14, Factor CO2 participated in the workshop to define the sectoral guidelines of the National Climate Change Adaptation Plan in Costa Rica organized by IUCN.
This second workshop is also within the framework of the Factor CO2 project for the definition of Costa Rica's National Climate Change Adaptation Plan.
The general objective of the workshop was to present an initial approach of sectoral action guidelines for the National Adaptation Plan before a group of different institutions, to receive feedback and enrich it.
The team of Factor CO2, formed by Kepa Solaun, Partner and General Director, and Malake Muñoz, Project Manager, participated in the workshop that, through the creation of 6 working groups linked to each of the sectors that will be part of the National Adaptation (Agriculture and Fisheries, Biodiversity and Forests, Infrastructure, Water Resources, Tourism and Health), compiled input from participants to incorporate them into Costa Rica's Climate Change Adaptation Plan. The sectoral guidelines were discussed to propose a revised version that was presented in a plenary session.
Factor CO2 is an organization specialized in providing ideas and services in the face of climate change, which has been operating since 2004, through a wide international network of offices and collaborators.
