Factor CO2 participates in the Regional Event LIFE GOOD LOCAL ADAPT

Today, Wednesday 27th June 2018, Factor CO2 will participate in the LIFE GOOD LOCAL ADAPT Regional Event to be held in Bilbao, Bizkaia.

The objective of the Regional Event is to share the results of the project in the field of climate change adaptation, and to identify possible actions to ensure transferability and replicability in other municipalities.

The team of Factor CO2, represented by Malake Muñoz, Julie Urban and Estíbaliz Sanz will have different interventions throughout the event to present in detail the progress and achievements of the project, and the results obtained in the actions carried out to date.

The program of the event is as follows:

  • Opening ceremony. IHOBE.
  • General presentation of the project. Julie Urban from Factor CO2.
  • Presentation of Action C1 Climate Barometer: objectives, dynamics and results. Malake Muñoz of Factor CO2.
  • Presentation of Action C2 Participation of pilot municipalities: Objectives, dynamics and results. Jone Belasteguigoitia (Createlli), Estíbaliz Sanz (Factor CO2) and the municipalities involved.


The "Good Local Adapt" project is a collaborative initiative led by Factor CO2, and made up of Gaiker, PH+, Ekinn, Amurrio City Council, Balmaseda City Council and Legazpi City Council. The project started in September 2017 and will run until September 2020 thanks to financial support from the LIFE+ program, the European Commission's environmental financing instrument. More precisely, it was awarded within the line of adaptation to climate change of the 2016 Call for Proposals.
