Factor CO2 participates in the workshop for the definition of the National Policy to Adapt to Climate Change in Costa Rica

Yesterday, Wednesday, September 13, the team of Factor CO2 formed by Kepa Solaun, Partner and General Manager, and Malake Muñoz, Project Manager, was in San José, Costa Rica, participating in the workshop for the definition of the National Policy of Adaptation to Climate Change in Costa Rica.
Factor CO2 is advising the Directorate of Climate Change of the Ministry of Environment and Energy of Costa Rica (MINAE), as a specialized consultant for the preparation of the National Climate Change Adaptation Plan.
The objective of the workshop was to present a draft of the National Adaptation Policy before a group of relevant institutions at the national level and receive inputs to form the final document.
Kepa Solaun presented the strategic transversal components of the National Adaptation Policy to later give way to participatory work in discussion tables, through which the contributions of the guests were collected, ending the day with a plenary session that grouped all attendees.
This project is part of the ARAUCLIMA Program, where the International and Ibero-American Foundation for Public Administration and Policy (FIIAPP) and the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development (AECID) provide multidisciplinary technical assistance and assistance to the Government of Costa Rica.
Factor CO2 is an organization specialized in providing ideas and services in the face of climate change, which has been operating since 2004, through a wide international network of offices and collaborators.
