Factor consolidates itself in Germany with the creation of a new company

26 July 2017 | Mitigation

Consistent with Factor's internationalization process, last week Factor Ideas Germany GmbH was established, a new organization aimed at consolidating the presence of Factor in the German country, where it began operations in 2013.

Factor already had operations in Berlin and Hanover, especially in projects related to renewable energy and European Emission Trading, where it had a subsidiary to participate in European auctions of emission allowances.

In recent years, Factor has been developing numerous international consulting projects, in collaboration or under the direction of German Cooperation (GIZ), in several countries, especially in Latin America.

The creation of the new company is a leap towards betting on Germany and consolidating its own team there. The head of the project will be Hugo Lucas, as executive director of the company and responsible for the energy department, as well as Florian Eickhold, as director of the department of climate change. New additions are expected before the end of the year in the Berlin office, where the new company's operations will be centralized.

In the coming weeks, interviews with the key people of this organization will allow us to better detail the vision of this new organization.

Viel Glück Factor Ideas Germany!
