Factor launches the elaboration of the National Strategy for Green Growth of Peru

24 January 2017 | Mitigation

The National Strategy for Green Growth in Peru is part of a project developed by Factor, together with Soluciones Prácticas. It will be developed with technical and economic support from the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) and the direction of the Ministry of Environment and the National Council for Competitiveness and Formalization of the Peruvian government.

Green growth pursues economic development, while ensuring distribution and access to natural resources. In this way, it complements sustainable development, and seeks to generate enabling conditions and monitoring to promote innovation, investment and competitiveness of an economy. The aim is to establish new forms of growth compatible with the environment.

Kepa Solaun, Partner and Managing Director of Factor, and Itxaso Gómez, Partner and Director of Factor Consulting, are meeting this week in Lima, Peru, in launching the work for the development of the National Strategy for Green Growth in Peru.

Factor is a group specialized in providing ideas and services in the face of climate change since 2004, through a wide international network of offices and collaborators.
