Factor participates in the forum: Structured Dialogue with the Caribbean, in St. George, Grenada

Yesterday, Wednesday November 7th  2018, the team of Factor, represented by Kepa Solaun, Partner and CEO, participated in the forum: Structured Dialogue with the Caribbean, which is taking place from November 6 to 9 in the city of St. George, Grenada.

The forum, aimed at the main partners of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) in the Caribbean, seeks to promote greater regional cooperation to address the challenges of climate change in the region and raise awareness of the opportunities offered by the GCF for Caribbean countries.

During his participation, Kepa Solaun presented the results of the project "Study on adaptation priorities in the Caribbean". The project, which was carried out for 8 countries in the region, focused on three main sectors: water, power systems and telecommunications.

The main objectives of the project were:

  • Assessment and identification of possible adaptation measures to climate change for each of the 8 countries under study.
  • The Development of a preliminary pipeline of investment opportunities and insuring options to reduce and manage the risk of damage or loss.
  • The presentation of regional and country-specific recommendations and guidance.


Factor has been providing ideas and services on climate change for more than 10 years, through an extensive international network of offices and collaborators.
