MINAE, with support of Factor CO2, organizes the first workshops for the elaboration of the National Climate Change Adaptation Plan of Costa Rica

Malake Muñoz, Project Manager of Factor CO2, is in San José this week participating in the development of various thematic workshops, whose objective is the presentation and contrast of the diagnosis of threats and vulnerability to climate change. This stage is the previous step for the subsequent approach of the Policy and the National Climate Change Adaptation Plan.
Factor CO2, was the consultant selected in Costa Rica to support the Climate Change Directorate of the Ministry of Environment and Energy of Costa Rica (MINAE) and the Ministry of Planning and Economic Policy (MIDEPLAN) in the preparation of the National Climate Change Adaptation Plan.
The project is part of the ARAUCLIMA Program, where the International and Ibero-American Foundation for Public Administration and Policies (FIIAPP) and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) are providing multidisciplinary technical support and assistance to the Government of Costa Rica.
Factor CO2 is specialized in providing ideas and services addressing climate change since 2004, through an extensive international network of offices and partners group.
